The planets of the Solar System are usually divided into several groups. First, the Inner planets – Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars – which have small mass and rocky composition. Next, the Gas Giants, Jupiter and Saturn, and the Ice Giants, Uranus and Neptune.
